The “Arts for All” grant panel at St. Johns Cultural Council have approved our School program “Strengthening Resiliency Through Music Composition”. The St. Johns County School District is contributing to the project by advocating for the Jam-ology program and by providing access to schools and students. Jam-ology's program supports the new Florida Resiliency standards and aligns with the school district's “Character Counts” program. The program engages all students by encouraging them to work together to collectively create and compose a song, promoting collaboration, critical thinking and self-worth. This introduces students to the benefits that music provides academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our ongoing initiative involves bringing professional musicians to conduct in-school demonstrations, providing students with firsthand experience of the world of music. Through these sessions, we emphasize the collaborative magic that emerges when minds and instruments synchronize, illustrating the limitless possibilities achievable through the art of musical and creative expression.
Launched in England in 2015 and introduced to the USA in 2020, the Summer Camp Program offers a fun and exciting experience for ages 8 to 15. Whether you enjoy singing, dancing, playing an instrument, writing jingles, performing on stage, or creating your own stories and illustrations, our program is for you – and no previous experience is needed!
Our creative environment nurtures the potential in each participant, fostering the development of skills that extend beyond the camp. Whether your dream is to become a rocket scientist, doctor, teacher, athlete, or rock star, we're here to support you. The Summer Camp and Jam-Club Program focuses on building self-confidence, enhancing creativity, improving communication skills, and instilling essential life skills needed for success in the digital age. Join us for a summer of growth and fun!
